Around the World with Gbanga is a series of interviews with players located in the most varied locations of the globe. Today’s interview takes Gbanga on its first trip to the Southern Hemisphere and Buenos Aires in Argentina. The city which is home to the world famous Casa Rosada is also the Mafia Famiglia territory of Gbanga’s Player of the Week, Luliit.
[Gbanga] Hi Luliit. Nice to have you join Gbanga. Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
[Luliit] Hello everyone, my name is Luli and I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina. My real family is quite big; we are seven brothers and sisters. However, I belong to another family in the Gbanga world, the MajorWhiteGlove.
I have studied Computer Engineering and I am very interested in mobile technologies. I have studied in my country and also in Italy. At the moment I am considering moving to Switzerland so that I can grow my Famiglia activities.
Can you tell us a bit more about Famiglia MajorWhiteGlove.
It’s easy to be part of this Famiglia as we always come to agreements by trading virtual objects. I don’t know what my mother would say if I “steal” a necklace and give it to my Mafia Boss. I am sure I would be kicked out from home, or worse!
Famiglia MajorWhiteGlove is small but we have plans to become bigger soon. Would you like to join it? You just need to wear white gloves and have fun. Argentina is a big country, as well as the capital city, so there is place for everyone that would like to join!
“My home Cell has a Weekly Candy Lab that works on Fridays. I would love to have that in real life!”
What does the Gbanga world look like in Buenos Aires?
Buenos Aires is quite a big city; therefore it’s full of establishments and items to collect. Everywhere I go I discover [Gbanga location-based] Cell’s and find valuable items. When you arrive in this beautiful city, you will definitely see all the MajorWhiteGlove activities over here. My flag has the colors of the Argentinian flag and a pink “L” lying in the middle.
I have seen some other players around my city but we’re not too many. Someone discovered some Cell’s in my neighbourhood and placed a Swiss flag. I believe he comes from Uruguay and I should be careful with him. Furthermore, there are also some other newbies around, just like me.
Anything else you would like to share with us?
My home Cell has a Weekly Candy Lab that works on Fridays. I would love to have that in real life! Also, this is the first time that I play a game that I found mixing real world locations with a virtual world and I think that the concept is really attractive and innovative. Gbanga is doing great!
